A Wave of Warmth: Community Organizations Rally to Support Residents in Need
The spirit of giving is alive and well in Jungnang-gu, where local organizations and businesses are coming together to spread warmth and support during the winter months.
In a heartwarming display of community solidarity, Jungnang-gu has received a generous outpouring of donations from various groups. On December 23rd, the district received a critically important financial contribution of 5 million won from the Welcom Welfare Foundation, led by Chairman Go Kwang-tae.
Further bolstering these efforts, the Jungnang-gu Badminton Association, headed by Chairman An Seung-don, and the Jungnang-gu Facilities management Corporation, led by chairman Lee Dong-yeol, jointly donated approximately 5.1 million won.
Adding to the wave of generosity, BaekSan Construction, under the leadership of President Baek Kyung-tae, donated 100 bags of 20kg rice and 100 boxes of ramen noodles, providing essential food supplies for those in need.
The generosity continued on December 24th,with Rambo CM Progress,led by CEO Lee Geum-seok,donating 135 boxes of ramen. The Myeonmok 7-dong Family Welfare Society, headed by Director Ryu young-ae, contributed 3 million won, while the Tae릉 Market Street Vendor Association, led by President Jang Young-hoon, donated 950,000 won.
Adding to this impressive display of community support, the Junghwa 2-dong Korean Restaurant, owned by President Kim Heung-gyu, donated 3 million won.
On December 27th, Dr. Park Jae-hyun, Director of Seongmo Tontton Rehabilitation Medical Clinic located in Tae릉 Market, delivered a generous donation of essential supplies to the Junghwa 2-dong Community Center.
