Modernizing Infrastructure for Enhanced accessibility
Meaningful strides have been made in modernizing our city’s infrastructure. The Chemin du Mas Chambon, a key artery leading to the leisure center, underwent a thorough rehabilitation. this included resurfacing the road, enhancing safety with new shoulders and devices, and improving access to parking areas.
Moreover,the burying of dry networks along Chemin du Moulin,Rue de la Close,and Rue de la Tranquillité has not only modernized our utilities but also substantially enhanced the visual appeal of these areas. The redevelopment of Rue des Lavandes and Place des Oliviers has created inviting public spaces, while the transition to energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the city contributes to both sustainability and aesthetics.
Investing in Community Spaces and Recreation
The heart of our community has been strengthened through key investments in public spaces and recreational facilities. The multipurpose room, a central hub for both municipal activities and community gatherings, underwent a major renovation. this project, which included the addition of a technical room and kitchen, represents a substantial investment in our community’s social fabric.
Our youngest residents have also benefited from significant improvements. The kindergarten playground received a much-needed upgrade during the All Saints holidays, replacing outdated equipment with a modern balance course and a dynamic module featuring a slide and climbing wall. This investment prioritizes the safety and growth of our children, providing them with a stimulating and engaging play environment.
Celebrating sporting Excellence and Community Spirit
The inauguration of the solidarity dojo, named after Olympic judo champion Amandine Buchard, marked a momentous occasion for our city.This state-of-the-art facility, made possible through the French Federation of Judo’s “1,000 dojos” program, has revitalized the former town hall premises at Place de la République. The dojo not only provides a dedicated space for judo training but also serves as a symbol of our community’s commitment to sportsmanship, discipline, and inclusivity.
