Eva: It’s an absolute ‌pleasure to be ⁤here. Thanks for having me!

Moderator: Let’s jump right in.‌ ASVÖ Steiermark is kicking off 2025 with some fantastic⁢ initiatives, including a new movement skills workshop for⁤ coaches. As someone who understands the importance of foundational movement skills, what are your ⁣thoughts‍ on this program?

Eva: This is brilliant news! When I started my gymnastics career, my focus wasn’t just on mastering difficult ‍routines, it was about building a strong⁤ foundation of essential movement skills. This workshop is‍ essential for creating well-rounded athletes ‍who are not only skilled but also injury-resistant and capable ⁢of enjoying a lifetime of ‍physical activity.

Moderator: ‌ Couldn’t agree more. Actually, I’m a‌ strong⁣ believer that ⁤these basic⁤ skills are overlooked these days.

Eva: Absolutely. Our children are spending more time sitting in front of‍ screens than engaging in free play where they can develop these crucial skills naturally. This workshop is a great way toEquip coaches with the tools they ⁢need to bring back the joy of movement⁢ in a ‌structured and engaging way.

Moderator: Another exciting development is⁣ the “Fit for the Future” consultation program. Having navigated the world of professional sports, what advice would you give to young clubs⁢ looking to ensure their long-term success?

Eva: My biggest piece of advice is to be adaptable and forward-thinking. The sporting landscape is constantly evolving, with changing demographics and emerging‌ technologies. Clubs that embrace innovation and constantly reinvent themselves will be the ones who Thrive.

Moderator: I think that’s a crucial point. we can’t get stuck in old ways of doing things. Speaking of moving forward, there’s a⁤ deadline looming for clubs to⁤ apply for ⁤basic funding through the ASVÖ Steiermark online portal. What message do⁢ you have for clubs who might be hesitant or unsure about applying?

Eva: Don’t wait! Secure your club’s financial well-being is essential. This funding can‌ be a game-changer, allowing clubs to invest in new ‍equipment, ⁣develop exciting programs, and create opportunities for their athletes.Don’t miss out on this chance to elevate your club and reach its full potential.

Moderator: Excellent advice, Eva! We’ve‍ been talking about fostering a love for sports, but what about the role of⁣ competitive spirit? How can clubs⁣ cultivate healthy competition ⁢without pushing athletes too hard?

Eva: Finding that balance is crucial. While competition can be incredibly motivating,it shouldn’t overshadow the joy of playing and the importance of teamwork.Encourage athletes to support‌ each other, celebrate each other’s successes, and learn from both victories and setbacks. Ultimately, sports should be a force for personal growth and shared experiences.

Moderator: Wise words Your insights are truly invaluable. ‍Eva, thank you for sharing your time and expertise with us today.
