On Sunday, January 12, 2025, the‍ Raymond Saqué dojo in Rodez ⁢became the epicenter of⁤ karate excellence as it hosted the Aveyron Kata Championship and the Aveyron Combat Departmental ⁢Council challenge. The event ​was a resounding success, with ‌CSKS Millau, the Millavois⁢ karate club, emerging ⁤as a standout ⁣performer.

The morning session ‍saw remarkable performances from Raphaël balland Leduc and ⁤ Thomas Guyotte, both black belts, ⁢who secured first and second places in kata, respectively. Sandro delivered ​an‌ outstanding performance, securing gold in both ​kata and‍ combat in the junior category. Ayoub‌ and Adel excelled⁢ in kata, taking first and second places, while also earning second and third in combat. Meï ‌showcased her skills with a second-place finish in combat and third in kata.
