Francesco: For me, it’s the stories behind the items. Every jersey, every boot, every photo holds a memory, a moment in time that captures the passion and dedication of players, coaches, and fans alike. It’s a physical manifestation of Bari’s journey, tangible proof of its enduring spirit.
Moderator: I wholly agree. There’s a romanticism to those objects, a connection to the past. Speaking of the past, Bari’s story began in a humble backroom on Via Roberto da Bari. Do you think that kind of grassroots beginning highlights the club’s strong connection to the city and its people?
Francesco: Undeniably. Knowing Bari was born in such a modest setting reminds us of the club’s roots, its connection to the streets, the neighborhoods, the very soul of Bari.

Cheers to that! Now, the celebrations go beyond just the exhibition. There are speeches from legends, a special toast, and tributes to various associations. As someone who likely benefitted from the support of such communities in your own playing days, what does this wide-ranging recognition represent?
Francesco: It reflects the true heart of Bari, the spirit of community that transcends the playing field. It acknowledges the clubs, organizations, and individuals who have contributed to the club’s growth and success over the years. Recognizing their effort is as significant as celebrating the team’s achievements.
