This past weekend saw the BC Kemperlé badminton club excel on two fronts. While adult players competed at the Saint-Nolff tournament in Morbihan, the younger generation took center stage at the prestigious Finistère jeunes championships in ploudalmezeau.
At Saint-Nolff,Johanka Ivanovicova shone brightly,securing victory in the Women’s Doubles alongside Malvy Pelleter and reaching the final with Vivien Sanson. Romain Beilllevert also achieved a commendable second-place finish in the Mixed Doubles 5 category.
Meanwhile, in Ploudalmezeau, a remarkable 42 young athletes from BC Kemperlé represented their club with exceptional skill and determination. This year’s Finistère jeunes championships will be etched in the club’s history as a testament to their dominance. Out of 29 finals, BC Kemperlé athletes secured a place in all but one, an remarkable feat highlighting their depth and talent.
The club’s success culminated in an notable haul of 25 gold medals out of a possible 34,a truly remarkable achievement.Several athletes stood out with exceptional performances. Louka bihan achieved a remarkable triple victory, while six athletes secured double wins: Bleuen Le bronnec in the Poussin category, Suzon Helary and Félicie Garnier in the benjamine category, Maïlyss Paugam in the Minime category, Antoine Kern in the Benjamin category, and Lylou Le Clainche in the Minime category.
