Jan Jelínek: It’s great to be here.

It’s been quite a journey for you, moving from assistant coach at Mladá Boleslav to leading a team of your own. What prompted this move to Slavia Prague?

Jan ⁢Jelínek: Honestly, the timing ‍felt right. My time at Mladá Boleslav⁣ was invaluable – working alongside david ‌Holoubek and Andreas Brännström taught me ⁤so much. But being a head⁤ coach has always been an ​ambition of mine, ⁢and Slavia Prague, with ⁣their focus on fostering young talent, ⁤seemed the perfect ​opportunity.

Interviewer: ⁢Slavia Prague is known for nurturing future stars. Do you see this role as a unique⁢ challenge, ‍shaping the ‌next generation of footballing greats?

Jan Jelínek: Absolutely. It’s an enormous responsibility, but also incredibly exciting. Building a positive,⁤ supportive environment where these young players⁣ can flourish is crucial. It’s about more than just tactics; it’s about player‍ development both on ‌and off⁤ the pitch.

Interviewer: Your coaching philosophy seems centered around ‍player⁢ growth and open⁣ interaction. Can you elaborate‍ on that? ​

Jan ⁤Jelínek: ⁢ I ⁣firmly believe that⁤ players need to feel heard and trusted. Only then‌ can they ⁢truly reach their potential. Creating an ⁣atmosphere of open dialog and encouraging players to​ take ownership⁢ of their development, that’s the key.

Interviewer: The Slavia B team ‌is‌ currently sitting in ⁣eighth place in the Chance League. Do you foresee any drastic changes to ‍the team’s ⁢strategy or line-up moving forward?

Jan Jelínek: While I want to build upon the solid⁣ foundation that’s ‌already in place, some adjustments are inevitable.

It’s about finding the right blend – respecting existing strengths while ​introducing new ideas and tactics.My ⁣ultimate aim is to help these players⁢ progress and showcase their abilities not⁤ just‍ at the B-team level, but potentially for Slavia’s first team‍ someday.

interviewer: Mladá Boleslav was quick to fill your vacancy with Jakub Harant. Do you think the team will continue to thrive with this new leadership?

Jan ‌Jelínek:‌ Jakub is a ​talented coach ​with a proven track record.⁤ I’m confident he’ll do a great ‍job with Mladá Boleslav. they are a very strong club with aspiring goals.
