Pierre: it’s fascinating to see two brothers, equally talented, choose slightly different paths.Jimi’s journey is⁢ a testament to his resilience. Six years is a ⁢long ⁣time to spend working your way back⁣ to⁣ the Top 14,⁣ but he never gave up. I admire his determination.

He clearly believes in himself, mentioning⁤ his steady development and the importance of confidence. Do you think that self-belief is a⁢ crucial ‍factor for young players breaking ‍through?

Pierre: Absolutely. Rugby, like⁢ any ‍sport, is⁢ as much mental as it is physical. The ability to overcome‍ setbacks, to trust in ‍your abilities even when things aren’t going your way, that’s essential. Jimi’s come through some tough times – injuries, the pandemic, loan moves – but he seems to have emerged stronger. That self-belief is a powerful ‌weapon.
