Scandiano Hosts Regional Archery Championship: A Weekend of Precision and Skill
Get ready for a thrilling display of archery prowess as Scandiano prepares to welcome the Regional Indoor Archery Championship. The event, taking place on January 18th and 19th, 2025, at the spacious iCAPANNONI venue, promises to be a captivating spectacle for both athletes and spectators.
Organized by the ASD Arcieri Orione, under the auspices of FITARCO – federazione Italiana Tiro con l’Arco and the FITARCO Emilia Romagna regional committee, the championship is supported by the municipality of Scandiano. Over 320 archers from across Emilia Romagna will converge,ready to compete in the disciplines of Olympic Bow,Barebow,and Compound Bow.
The competition kicks off on Saturday with a 9:00 AM assembly,followed by the frist arrows flying at 9:30 AM.The afternoon session commences with a 2:00 PM assembly and shooting starting at 2:30 PM. Sunday’s action begins with an 8:30 AM assembly, with the first arrows released at 9:00 AM.
These modern-day “Robin hoods” will vie for victory in various age categories, including Giovanissimi, Ragazzi, Allievi, Juniores, Seniores, and Master, with separate competitions for men and women.

Every arrow shot is a chance to learn and grow.”
