From Badminton Court to ‍Golf Green: Cecilie Finne-Ipsen Earns LET Spot

Cecilie⁣ Finne-Ipsen, the younger⁣ sister ‌of renowned ⁢badminton player Julie Finne-Ipsen, has secured a coveted spot on the Ladies European Tour (LET) ‍for 2025. Entering the final round ⁣outside the⁢ top 20, Cecilie⁣ staged an impressive comeback, finishing in 8th place and securing a ‍full LET card for 2025. This achievement surpasses her 45th⁣ place finish in the previous year’s Q-school, which granted her limited‍ access to the tour.

“I’m still unsure about the exact number⁤ of tournaments I’ll be able to participate in, but it will ‍definitely be more than⁣ this year,” Cecilie shared with golf.dk.‍ “This improved access also brings financial stability, as I often faced⁣ uncertainty about which tour to play⁤ on or even if I could⁤ participate ⁣at all.
