In the men’s compound division, Mexico’s hopes rested on Sebastián García. Unfortunately, his journey ended in the quarterfinals after a close 146-147 loss to Denmark’s Mathias Fullerton. Fullerton went on to claim the silver medal, while the gold went to the united States’ James Lutz and the bronze to Mike Schloesser of the Netherlands.
