Rising Star Esmir Bajraktarević Joins PSV Eindhoven
Bosnian international Esmir Bajraktarević has inked a deal with Dutch powerhouse PSV Eindhoven, securing his future with the club until the summer of 2029. The talented winger, known for his skillful dribbling and precise crosses, is expected to bolster PSV’s attacking prowess.
PSV’s director of football affairs, Earnest Stewart, expressed his admiration for Bajraktarević, stating, “we’ve been tracking Esmir’s progress as January. He’s a left-footed player who excels on the right flank. His ball control is extraordinary, he delivers hazardous crosses, and he’s a threat in one-on-one situations. He also possesses a knack for scoring goals. Esmir has the potential to truly surprise people with his abilities.”
Interestingly, Bajraktarević made his debut for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team at PSV’s Philips Stadium last year, facing the Dutch national team. With 45 appearances in Major League Soccer under his belt, Bajraktarević brings valuable experience to PSV.

Marco: I have indeed! I followed him during his time in Major League Soccer. Bajraktarević is a gifted player with tremendous potential. His dribbling skills are exceptional,and he’s got a knack for delivering pinpoint crosses. The boy’s got pace, vision, and a real eye for goal.
Moderator: PSV director of football affairs, Earnest Stewart, has stated that Bajraktarević “has the potential to truly surprise people with his abilities.” Do you think he has what it takes to be a star player in the Eredivisie?
marco: Absolutely. The Eredivisie is a competitive league, but I believe Bajraktarević has the tools to succeed. PSV’s style of play, which emphasizes attacking flair and quick transitions, suits him perfectly.
Moderator: Now, Bajraktarević is a young player, a fact emphasized by Stewart, who also mentioned providing him with the necessary time and support to acclimate to his new surroundings.What would be your advice to a young player making the leap to a new league and club?
Marco: Patience is key. It takes time to adjust to a new habitat,a new team,a new style of play. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, learn from the experienced players, and trust your abilities. PSV has a great history of developing young talent, so Bajraktarević is in the right place.
Moderator: It’s interesting that Bajraktarević actually made his debut for the Bosnian national team at PSV’s Philips Stadium in a match against the Dutch national team. It seems almost destined he would be playing there.
Marco: That’s a fantastic story! It shows he’s pleasant on that stage,playing against tough competition.

Marco: I think it’s an excellent move. PSV is a club with aspiring goals and a strong track record of success. It’s a chance for Bajraktarević to develop his game alongside top-class players and under the guidance of a great coach like Peter Bosz.
Moderator: Now, PSV fans are always eager for success, and Bajraktarević arrives with high expectations. What kind of impact do you think he can realistically have on the team this season?
Marco: Realistically, it will take some time for him to settle in and find his rhythm. But I believe he can contribute valuable minutes from the bench and push for a starting spot.
Moderator: Bajraktarević is primarily a right winger. PSV currently has some talented wingers. Do you see him as a starter in this position, and what about the possible competition for playing time in that position?
Marco: Competition is healthy! He’ll need to earn his place, but his skillset can be a valuable asset to the team.

Marco: I truly believe he does. He has the talent and the work ethic. If he stays focused and committed to his development, there’s no reason why he can’t reach the very highest level.
