Fluminense Kicks Off Pre-Season Training with Young talent
Fluminense football Club has officially commenced its 2025 pre-season preparations, with the first group of athletes reporting to CT Carlos Castilho on Thursday, January 2nd. This initial squad, primarily composed of promising young players from the renowned Xerém academy, will be guided by coach Marcão in the early stages of training and the opening rounds of the Carioca Championship.
The young athletes were warmly welcomed by club president Mário Bittencourt, football director paulo Angioni, and coach Marcão. The afternoon session included essential physiology tests and gym workouts, setting the stage for a rigorous pre-season program.

Adding to the squad’s firepower,newly signed striker Paulo Baya is scheduled to join the group on Friday,January 3rd,when full-time training resumes.
The second group, comprising players who concluded their participation in last year’s Brasileirão and are currently on vacation, will rejoin the team on January 8th, under the leadership of head coach mano Menezes.
