He then joined Parma Baseball in 2023, where he showcased his skills, accumulating 57 at-bats and recording 14 hits, including three doubles and two RBIs.He also participated in the Champions Cup in Amsterdam, gaining valuable international experience.
In 2024, Segreto continued to impress, playing a key role for Reggio Emilia, reaching the Play-off quarter-finals. His exceptional batting average of .329, achieved through 24 hits in 73 at-bats, including two doubles and a triple, with 23 RBIs, solidified his reputation as a formidable force at the plate.

Francesco: It felt like coming home. Farma is where it all started for me, and Parma has always held a special place in my heart. The team’s ambition and focus on nurturing young talent are truly inspiring.

Moderator: Speaking of growth, you’ve certainly shown unbelievable development over the past few years, from your time with Farma and Parma Baseball, to your experiance in the Champions Cup and a strong Playoff run with Reggio Emilia.What aspects of your game have you focused on improving the most?
Francesco: I’ve been working extensively on my hitting consistency and plate discipline. I want to be a reliable force at the plate, a true contributor to the team’s offensive success.
Moderator: And you certainly achieved that with Reggio Emilia,boasting an notable .329 batting average last season.Farmers fans are eager to see that kind of firepower in the lineup. What are your personal goals for the upcoming season?
Francesco: My goal is simple: to help Farma win. I want to contribute in any way possible, whether it’s with my bat, my glove, or my leadership.
Moderator: You’ve demonstrated your versatility, playing both catcher and infield positions effectively. Do you have a preference, or are you happy to contribute wherever the team needs you?
Francesco: To be honest, I love the challenge of both positions. Catching demands a different kind of focus and leadership on the field, while infield allows me to be more active defensively. Wherever the team needs me, I’m ready to step up.
