Prakash Padukone: Absolutely. At this level, it’s about capitalizing on your opponent’s mistakes and minimizing your own. Every point is crucial. A few unforced errors can swing the momentum, and unfortunately, SatChi were on the receiving end this time.
Moderator: Many fans are disappointed, especially after SatChi’s impressive run as runners-up in the previous edition. What’s your message to them?

Every loss is a learning experience. this defeat shouldn’t demoralize them; instead, they should analyze their performance, identify areas for improvement, and come back stronger.
Moderator: SatChi are known for their aggressive style. Was this the right approach against the Koreans?
Prakash Padukone: Their aggressive approach has taken them far, and it’s part of their identity. However, against a pair like Kim and Seo, who are equally aggressive and strong at the net, they needed to be more strategic. Perhaps a slightly more controlled game, mixing up their shots and varying the pace, could have been beneficial.

Prakash Padukone: The India Open is always a special tournament for Indian players.Playing at home, in front of their own crowd, gives them an extra boost. I hope SatChi can bounce back from this setback and put on a strong performance. We also have other talented players like Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy who can make a mark.
