The conflict in Ukraine has caused tremendous suffering, and it’s crucial that Russia demonstrates a genuine commitment to peace and dialog before fully reintegrating into the footballing community.
Friendly matches against select European teams could be a starting point, allowing for dialogue and perhaps rebuilding bridges. however, participation in major tournaments requires a broader sense of acceptance and a clear commitment to upholding the values of fair play and respect that underpin international sport.”
