Two seasons ago, we had Marcos Diel, a talented young player who opted to return to Olympus. while his departure was amicable, it exceeded our budget. Last year, we recognized the need for experience and brought in Mamo (Zalguizuri) and Pomar (Garbarino), alongside foreign player Fede giarrafa. We were pleased with the results, and although we can’t disclose details yet, we anticipate further developments mid-season,” di Chiara revealed.
The club’s positive experiences with experienced players convinced them to pursue Wilkerson. “He’s a seasoned center with a proven track record. While his acquisition involves additional costs for housing and meals, we’ve established a robust logistical framework to manage these expenses. We believe his presence will be a significant draw for fans and justify the investment,” Di Chiara concluded.
