two thrilling play-in matchups will decide the final two spots in the prestigious Gold Group.The first will see UCAM Murcia CB Polymec, the fourth-placed team from Gold Group 1, face off against CB Fuente Álamo Caja Rural Regional, the champions of Silver Group 2. the first leg will take place at the Javier Gómez Noya Pavilion in Fuente Álamo on January 7th,followed by the return leg at the Narciso Yepes Pavilion in murcia on January 9th.The second play-in match pits Superdumbo Maristas Murcia “A”,the fourth-placed team from gold Group 2,against EDM caravaca de la Cruz,the champions of Silver Group 1. This exciting clash will begin at the Juan Antonio Corbalán Pavilion in Caravaca de la Cruz on January 7th, with the second leg scheduled for January 9th at the Maristas La Fuensanta Pavilion.The winners of these play-in matches will join UCAM Murcia CB “B”, CB Santo Ángel 09, Biogreen Road MB, Real Murcia Baloncesto “A”, Infante M09, and Marme San Javier in the Gold Group.This eight-team group will compete in a double-round league format, with the top three teams advancing to the final Four alongside UCAM Murcia CB Cadete, who are also competing in the Junior Men category. The second phase of the Gold Group is set to commence on the weekend of January 11th.
Silver Group: A Fight for Promotion
The Silver group will also witness two intense play-in matches. Feeding&Food SL CB Sierramar, the fourth-placed team from Silver Group 1, will face Míster Camión Basket Las Torres, the champions of the Zonal Crossing Z1 vs Z4. The first leg will be held at the Mireia Belmonte Pavilion in Las Torres de Cotillas on January 7th, followed by the return leg at the Juan Sáez Celdrán Pavilion in El Algar on January 9th.
The second play-in match will see Bahía Mazarrón Basket, the fourth-placed team from Silver Group 2, take on Avenida Motor EB Abarán, the champions of the Zonal Crossing Z2 vs Z3. This exciting encounter will begin at the IES Abarán Pavilion on January 7th, with the return leg scheduled for January 9th at the Mazarrón Municipal Pavilion.
The Silver Group’s second phase will feature a mix of relegated teams from the Gold Group, play-in losers, and winners from the Silver-Zonal play-ins. Two groups of six teams will be formed, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals. The bottom team in each group will be relegated to the Zonal Group.
Zonal Group: A Chance for Redemption
The Zonal Group will consist of teams relegated from the Silver Groups, play-in losers, and other teams vying for a chance to climb the ranks. This group will be divided into two groups of five and seven teams, respectively, with the top teams in the five-team groups competing for the Title.
