Coach Rossi: it’s absolutely crucial. Morro D’Oro always draws strong competition, and the course itself is a true test of endurance and skill. For many young athletes, this race is their first taste of high-level competition, setting the tone for the rest of the season.

Coach Rossi: Morro D’Oro Club has been steadily climbing the ranks. Their 4th place finish at last year’s National Cross Club finals, followed by their 3rd place overall ranking, proves they are a force to be reckoned with. A 50% roster renewal injects fresh enthusiasm and talents. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them pushing for the top spot in 2025.
Moderator: That 50% roster change is a bold move. Some might see it as a risk. What are your thoughts on such a significant change going into a crucial season?
Coach Rossi: Sometimes, change is necessary for growth. It brings in fresh perspectives, new dynamics, and a renewed sense of purpose. It’s a gamble, sure, but Morro D’Oro Club has a strong coaching staff and a clear vision for the future. If they can leverage this change effectively, it could be the catalyst they need to reach new heights.

coach Rossi: Cassino is a challenging course, and the pressure will certainly be on. It’s a National stage, and every athlete wants to perform at their best. But pressure can also be a motivator. Thriving under pressure separates the good from the great.
