Marking its 30th anniversary, the national ⁣badminton tournament is set to take place in The Arrow ⁤ (Sarthe). Over 350 participants will gather at the‌ Monnerie sports complex on Saturday, ⁤January 18, and sunday,‍ January 19, 2025.

A dedicated team of 80⁢ volunteers will be on hand throughout‌ the weekend to ensure the event runs seamlessly.

The tournament draws‌ badminton enthusiasts ‌from across‍ France, with a strong portrayal from the‍ Great West‌ regions, including Brittany, loire, Normandy, and Center-Val de Loire.

The opening day, Saturday, will feature men’s and‍ women’s singles matches, along with the mixed doubles draw. Sunday’s schedule will focus on men’s and women’s doubles.

Among the top-tier players in the N2-N3 category is niels Picart ​ from Union Sportive Créteil, who holds a spot in the federal top 300 rankings.
