“Our goal is to inspire both young players and coaches,” explained Olivier Versproumy, a member of the NBA Europe teams. “By connecting them with an NBA coach and showcasing the training methods used in the league, we aim to elevate the level of basketball in France and Europe.”

The Regional Basketball League in Occitanie, which oversees ten departmental committees, recorded an extraordinary 44,023 licensees for the 2023-2024 season, with approximately 13,000 players registered in Haute-Garonne alone.This surge in participation underscores the sport’s increasing appeal and the anticipation surrounding the upcoming NBA Paris Games.
