the Espace Omnisports hosted a remarkable judo event on November 29th, marking the 59th installment of the “One City, One Sport, One Champion” initiative. This year, however, the program took an exciting turn, welcoming not one, but two esteemed judo champions to inspire the next generation of athletes.
Over 350 children from Jean-Jaurès, Joliot-Curie, and Louis-Pergaud schools participated in the mass training session.They had the astonishing opportunity to learn from and interact with Margaux Pinot,the reigning world champion in the under 70 kg category and a member of the victorious 2020 Olympic team.Joining her was Luka Mkheidze, a decorated judoka who secured a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and followed it up with a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Games, both in the under 60 kg division.

Their vision is to establish themselves as Plessis-Robinson’s premier judo club, welcoming practitioners of all ages and skill levels, not just schoolchildren.
