Piro Administration Gears Up for CM Nitish Kumar’s Potential Visit

During this visit,the SDO convened a meeting with key administrative officials,including the Block Development Officer (BDO),sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO),Block Public Relations Officer (BPRO),and other block-level officers. The meeting focused on assessing the progress of various construction projects in the area. The SDO emphasized the need for timely completion of these initiatives and issued directives to the concerned officials to expedite the work. Local Panchayat representatives were also in attendance, ensuring community involvement in the process. Following the meeting, the SDO inspected several key sites, including a sports ground, a library cum career centre, the Panchayat government building, Mukti Dham, an Anganwadi center, and a pond cum duck shed. He noted that the construction of a badminton court and tennis court at the sports ground is nearing completion, while the Anganwadi center and pond cum shed are progressing rapidly. Additionally, the SDO reviewed the chariot construction project undertaken by Jeevika Didis at Jeevika Bhawan and inspected the Additional Primary Health Center cum Wellness Centre.

During his visit, the SDO also inspected the Waste to Ark Park under construction in Katar, hasanbazar. This innovative project aims to set a benchmark in waste management by converting garbage into a functional and aesthetically pleasing park. Revitalizing the Old Veterinary Hospital: A New Library cum Career Center
Another notable project reviewed by the SDO is the conversion of the old veterinary hospital building into a library cum career center. During the inspection, the SDO gathered detailed updates from the officers on-site and instructed them to ensure the project’s swift completion. He explained that the renovated building would house a state-of-the-art library and career center, providing valuable resources for students and young professionals. The SDO also mentioned plans to install street lights in the cluster and create a digital layout of all ongoing schemes, further enhancing the area’s infrastructure.
