Slavia Prague Gears Up for Spring Season with Challenging Fixtures
Slavia Prague is set to kick off the spring portion of thier season with a crucial UEFA Europa League clash against PAOK in Thessaloniki on January 25th. Before this highly anticipated encounter, the team will undergo a rigorous readiness schedule.
Following the holiday break, Slavia will reconvene for training on January 5th at their home ground, Eden. The squad will then depart for a two-week training camp in Marbella, Spain, from January 7th to 21st.
The camp will feature three preparatory matches, providing valuable opportunities to fine-tune tactics and build team cohesion. On January 15th, Slavia will face off against Raków częstochowa, a familiar opponent from a pre-season kind in August 2023. The Polish champions, who secured the title in the 2022/23 season, will be eager for revenge after Slavia’s 2-1 victory in their previous encounter, thanks to goals from Mick van Buren.
The final test in Marbella will come on January 19th against Philadelphia Union, a prominent team from major League Soccer. This match promises to be an exciting challenge for Jindřich Trpišovský’s men.

The Europa League journey continues a week later, with Slavia hosting Malmö FF at Eden on January 30th for their final group stage fixture. The spring season in the Czech Fortuna Liga will commence on February 2nd, with Slavia welcoming Mladá Boleslav to the Fortuna Arena for a 6:30 PM kickoff.

They have a tough Europa league clash against PAOK followed by a home game against Malmö FF. Thes are must-win games for them if they wont to progress.
That Marbella training camp seems intense! Facing raków Częstochowa and Philadelphia Union will surely put them to the test. Do you see the benefit of these kinds of fixtures before competitive games?
Milan: Absolutely. playing against top teams from different leagues is invaluable. Raków are Polish champions and will be looking for revenge after that August defeat. philadelphia Union is a strong MLS side, so those matches will challenge Slavia tactically and physically. it’s the perfect planning for the challenges that lie ahead.
