Rosicky: I think his legacy will be one of loyalty, dedication, and unwavering passion for borussia Dortmund.He was a symbol of the club’s values, a true ambassador for everything BVB stands for. I have there’s no doubt whatsoever that his memory will be forever etched in the hearts of everyone associated with the club.
Moderator: Looking back at his career, Teddy achieved remarkable things with Dortmund, including contributing to nine of the club’s most critically important titles. Can you share any specific moments that stand out in your mind that illustrate his brilliance?
Rosicky: That 1997 Champions league semi-final against Juventus comes to mind.
Teddy was absolutely phenomenal. He made a string of incredible saves,keeping us in the game. Although we lost his performance that night was truly inspirational.
Moderator: Teddy was a unique individual both on and off the field. Was there anything that made him truly stand out as a person?
Rosicky: Absolutely. There was a sincerity and genuineness about him that was rare. He was always there for his teammates, his friends, and the fans. You always knew you could count on him, no matter what.
