A Thriving Community Hub: TSV Blaufelden
The TSV Blaufelden stands as a pillar of the community,boasting the largest membership of any association in the area. As of june 2024, the club proudly counts 1015 members across its five diverse departments.The Turnen/Leichtathletik department, directly overseen by the main association, enjoys the highest participation with 726 members. The remaining departments – Fußball (274 members), Tennis (87 members), Taekwondo (106 members), and Badminton/Volleyball/Basketball (81 members) – are each managed by dedicated departmental leaders. Administrative tasks for all members are efficiently handled by the central office located at Kleistweg 21/2.
The TSV Blaufelden benefits from the unwavering support of its Förderverein, established in 1994. This dedicated group provides both practical and financial assistance to the club. Since its inception, the Förderverein has taken on the obligation of managing the clubhouse at the sports complex, ensuring a welcoming space for members and guests.Further bolstering the club’s commitment to youth advancement is the TSV Jugend Förderverein, founded in 2009. This organization actively promotes the club’s youth programs through various initiatives, including prominent advertising along the sports field perimeter.

Stefan: Its a pleasure to be here. TSV Blaufelden holds a special place in my heart.
LetS talk numbers. Over 1000 members! That’s extraordinary for any club, let alone one nestled in a smaller community. What do you attribute this success to?
Stefan: It’s a combination of factors. TSV Blaufelden has always had a strong focus on nurturing young talent and fostering a welcoming environment for all ages and abilities. The breadth of departments, from football and tennis to Taekwondo and badminton, ensures there’s something for everyone.
You mentioned youth talent. The Turnen/Leichtathletik department seems to be the biggest draw, with over 700 members. How important is it for a club like TSV Blaufelden to invest in its younger generation?
Stefan: Absolutely crucial. It’s about building a sustainable future for the club.When you invest in young athletes, you’re not just fostering their sporting talents, you’re investing in their character development, their social skills, and their sense of belonging within the community.
Speaking of community,the Förderverein and the TSV Jugend Förderverein play a significant role in supporting the club. How vital are these organizations to TSV Blaufelden’s success?
Stefan: They’re the backbone. Their dedication, both financially and practically, is invaluable. managing the clubhouse, promoting youth programs – these tasks ensure the smooth running of the club and allow members, young and old, to focus on what matters most: enjoying their chosen sport.
Looking back on your time at TSV Blaufelden, what stands out as the most defining moment?
Stefan: It’s hard to pick just one. Perhaps our championship win in ’98. The camaraderie, the shared achievement – it solidified the club’s place in the community’s heart.
Do you think TSV Blaufelden has the potential to grow even further?
stefan: Definitely. With continued investment in youth programming, a focus on inclusivity, and the unwavering support of its Fördervereine, the club has all the ingredients for sustained success.
