“She was someone who always had a smile, who was always caring and very kind. In recent months, she has also taught us a lesson in life. “ These are the words ofAnne-Sophie Le Nalio, following the disappearance of Nathalie David-Mila, which she was close to. Words taken up in unison by those who knew her.
Professional player on the Ladies European Tour from 2004 to 2011, Nathalie David-Mila died on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, at the age of 42, after having had to fight cancer. During her amateur career, she notably won the Helen Holm Scottish Open in 2003. That same year, under the guidance of the coach (then a beginner at the federal level) Nicolas Subrin, with her comrades of the French women’s team, she was going to seek a bronze medal at the European Team Championship, in Frankfurt. “We weren’t favorites on paper, but we had an excellent team spirit”, remembers Anne-Sophie Le Nalio, who was then one of her teammates.
Nathalie David-Mila had resumed studies at the end of her career as a professional player, and worked in a company specializing in the logistics of fresh products, in Ancenis (Loire-Atlantique). A region of Pays-de-la-Loire where she continued to enjoy playing golf. The ffgolf wholeheartedly associates itself with the grief of his family and loved ones, especially his brother Olivier David, also a brilliant golf player.
