Badosa swims in front of Bencic to make it to the semifinals in Sydney

Paula Badosa from Begur has beaten Switzerland in a tremendous struggle Belinda Bencic by 7-6 (6), 3-6 and 6-3 in the quarterfinals of the Sydney International, making it to the semifinals of the Australian tournament.

The tennis player, who fell in the first round of the Adelaide tournament against the Belarusian Victoria Azarenka in what was her first test in Australia, will face for a ticket to the final in the Russian Daria Kasatkina, who got rid of fellow Spaniard Garbiñe Muguruza in the other quarterfinal night game.
