According to Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon), the team started winter training on the 10th. The training at Hanium lasts 14 days.

A total of 70 people, including the leader, participated in the winter training and are working hard on training during the winter, including psychological measurement, physical fitness certification, and player league matches.

Koh Young-goo, head coach of the national badminton squad, said, “I am thrilled to start winter training again in Hwasun after two years after not having face-to-face training since February 2020.” I would like to thank Hwasun County for their generous support.”

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Hwasun-gun is conducting thorough quarantine management such as ▲PCR pre-inspection and additional testing ▲Fever check 3 times a day ▲Occasional quarantine at gyms and accommodations.

An official from Hwasun-gun said, “We will continue to closely monitor the situation across the country and contribute to the revitalization of sports culture and the local economy by promoting field training and holding competitions.”
