Philadelphia 76ers GM Daryl Morey has long been looking for a possible trade for Ben Simmons, who has once again confirmed – despite the franchise’s attempts to get him back – his willingness to leave Pennsylvania.
For some time some market rumors spoke of a possible axis between Lakers and 76ers regarding a Westbrook-Simmons exchange, as the Californian company considers the performance of the former Thunder and Rockets subdued.
However, these rumors have been strongly denied in the past few hours by the insider Sam Amick, who has denied any kind of indiscretion regarding a possible landing of Russell Westbrook in Philadelphia. This is because it was Daryl Morey himself who highlighted the company’s lack of interest in buying UCLA’s product.
If the track for Simmons seems to have closed, the yellow-violet still remain one of the most active franchises on the market, testing the waters for various players, including Gary Trent Jr, Jeramy Grant e Myles Turner.
