The 21-year-old archer scored 593 points in a competition held at Insep’s archery center, the French archery federation (FFTA) said on Thursday. The FFTA added that Barbelin had bettered Bérengère Schuh‘s mark (592 points), achieved almost 13 years ago. The new French record is two points from the world record (595 points), held by South Korean Ryoo Su Jung, and one unit from the European record of German Lisa Unruh.
