Latvian driver Jēkabs Kalenda, together with pusher Regnārs Kirejevs, won the sixth place in the European U23 Championship and the tenth place in the European Junior Championship on Friday at the Winterberg track in Germany within the framework of the European Cup.
Two of Latvia completed the track in 57.23 seconds, showing the eighth best start time.

The crew of the Russian pilot Stephan Dubinko won the European U-23 championship, which was 0.18 seconds ahead of his compatriot Vyacheslav Popov and 0.53 seconds ahead of the Romanian Andrei Nick.
