Anthony Davis could soon be making a comeback for the Los Angeles Lakers

Anthony Davis injured his inner ligament before Christmas, now the Los Angeles Lakers‘ big man could soon be back.

Like Dave McMenamin from ESPN reports, Davis could be back on the field as early as this month. The Lakers are going on a long road trip next Saturday, and Davis could make his comeback during this phase.

The 28-year-old has been missing from the Californians in the past twelve games, the Lakers have won only five of them. Davis was injured on December 17 at the Minnesota bankruptcy when Jaden McDaniels fell on Davis’ left knee, damaging the medial ligament.

Most recently, Davis trained with a thick bandage on his knee, according to sources from ESPN but the Big Man is said to have moved well with it. In 27 games so far, the brow has averaged 23.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.0 blocks at 52.1 percent from the field and just 18 percent from the three-point line.

The Lakers are currently seventh in the west, but the coming weeks will be tough. In the night to Sunday we go to Denver before two home games against Utah and Indiana. Six away games in a row follow, including visits to contenders such as Miami, Brooklyn and Philadelphia.
