Podiums and great performances in Gerenzano for the archers of Burarco (Vimercate) and Del Sole (Solaro) at the test of the Indoor Regionals for bare and compound bow.
Massive participation of archers in the Lombardy Indoor Regional Championships, compound bow and bare bow divisions, organized by the company Burarco Vimercate: in the Palasport of Gerenzano as many as 177 competitors presented themselves on the shooting lines for this important event.
In the compound championship, girls category, the title was won by Claudia Nardecchia (Arcieri Burarco) who already achieved important results in the Olympic arc last season.
In the bare arch, six archers from Brianza concluded the test on the podium. In the senior category, are Cristian Trolese (Arc. Del Sole – Solaro) ranked third (title won by Alessandro Rigamonti – Arcieri dell’Isola Bergamasca Orobici) and Marina Mostardini (Burarco) also ranked third behind Moira Girola and Adriana Corti, both members of the Airone di Turate company. In the male masters category, Fabio Capoferri (Arc.De Sole – Solaro) took second place (title won by Matteo Passoni – Arcieri dell’Adda) and Simona Biella (Polisp. Bellusco Archery) third place (title conquered by Fausta Rossini – Comp.Arcieri Bresciani). Protagonists of an excellent performance, especially on the technical level, the archers Fabio Capoferri, Gianluigi Alberti, Massimo Egidio Volpi (Arc. Del Sole – Solaro) with 1530 points won the team title, barebow master category, in front of the City team. of Opera which collected 1481 points.
Among the absolute protagonists of this edition of the Regional Championships were Marina Mostardini (Burarco) thanks to the third place conquered in the female sector, while in the male one Cristian Trolese and Gianlugi Alberti (both Arc. Del Sole) returned to the headquarters with al neck, respectively, the silver and bronze medals.
