Conor McGregor remains under investigation for allegations of assaulting the Italian DJ

Conor McGregor is still under investigation for an alleged attack on an Italian DJ, we can reveal it.

The UFC star was accused of hitting Francesco Faccinetti in the face, presumably breaking his nose, during a party in Rome last October.

McGregor was in the Italian city with his fiancée de Devlin as they baptized their five-month-old son Ryan in the Vatican.

Facchinetti, 41, who presents the Italian X-Factor and serves as judge of the national version of The Voice, says the alleged incident was unmotivated and unexpected.

Three days later he filed a formal complaint against citizen Crumlin to the Italian police.

Then the DJ spoke up, insisting that he would not withdraw his complaint, even if he was offered 10 million euros.

We can now reveal that the alleged assault is still under investigation by the Italian police.

Facchinetti’s lawyers confirmed to The Star earlier this week that: “The Italian prosecutor is still investigating [the alleged assault].

“We may have an update in the next few months,” Facchinetti’s legal team confirmed to The Star.

Mr. Facinti called the police following the incident at the five-star St Regis Hotel.

The Notorious – whose name is on Forbes’ annual list as the highest paid athlete in the world with a salary of 180 million euros – would punch him in the mouth, breaking his nose in front of 10 witnesses, his friends and bodyguards.

He claimed that Dublin attacked him for no reason after talking for more than two hours.

Mr. Facente said: “I could have shut up and not say anything to anyone, but since I am here to say it, I must say that this person is really violent and dangerous. If McGregor’s lawyer calls me tomorrow and offers me 10 million euros to withdraw the complaint and withdraw everything, I’ll say no ”.

On Wednesday he told his local radio station Radio 105: “I don’t care about money, I don’t care about noise.

McGregor could face a three-month to three-year prison sentence in Italy if he were charged and convicted of the assault.

The state also uses fines and imprisonment as a form of punishment.

McGregor never talked about the alleged attack.

His representatives were contacted for comment but did not respond.
