KOMPAS.com – The India Open 2022 badminton tournament will hold the final matches on Sunday (16/1/2022).

One of the finals of the India Open 2022 presented the match of the representatives of Indonesia, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan, in the men’s doubles sector.
Ahsan/Hendra are scheduled to compete in the third match at Field 1 KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, New Delhi.

The Daddies will compete against the host representative, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty.
This is an ideal final as both men’s doubles are the top seeds of the tournament.
Ahsan/Hendra are the first seeds, while Rankireddy/Chirag are the second seeds.
In a way head-to-head, the Indonesian pair was superior to the Indian representative. It is recorded that Ahsan/Hendra won three times in four meetings.

In the last two meetings, The Daddies even managed to win through a direct two-game battle.
The two meetings took place in the last 16 of last year’s Thailand Open (21-19, 21-17) and the last 32 of the Indonesia Open 2020 (22-20, 21-15).
Meanwhile, managed to penetrate the final round to become start which is good for Ahsan/Hendra at the beginning of 2022 after experiencing a fairly difficult period throughout 2021.
“We hope that this year can be better than last year. In India, maybe it’s more of a fairly long preparation,” said Hendra.

The final of the Super 500 level tournament will open with a duel for Singapore’s men’s singles, Loh Kean Yew against Lakshya Sen (India).
After this match, two Thai representatives, namely Supanida Katethong and Busanan Ongbamrungphan, will duel in the women’s singles sector.

Then, Ahsan/Hendra and Rankireddy/Chirag will compete.
In the women’s doubles sector, there is a duel between Benyapa Aimsaard/Nuntakarn Aimsaard (Thailand) against Anastasiia Akchurina/Olga Morozova (Russia) in the fourth match.
The India Open 2022 final will be closed with Chen Tang Jie vs Peck Yen Wei (Malaysia) vs Hee Yong Kai Terry/Tan Wei Han (Singapore) in the mixed doubles sector.
