Brooklyn Nets star forward Kevin Durant had to leave Saturday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans with a sprained knee.
Durant suffered the inconvenience in a crash in which his teammate Bruce Brown ended up hitting him. The star player tried to stay on the court but a few minutes later he had to leave the field.
12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, a block and a triple were his numbers in 12 minutes of action. It’s important to note that the Nets were winning by a wide margin at the time of the incident, so they may have also decided to take the path of caution.
Now the Brooklyn team will evaluate “Durantula” to find out the extent of this injury.
