The show started at 8 p.m., ran for an hour – and was shown on two sides of the tower. The Serbian media proudly reported on the action.
Far less attention was paid to the “West 65” high-rise building. It’s six kilometers away in the satellite district of New Belgrade, on the other side of the river.
The building displayed the message “Welcome home, Nole. We love you, your West 65”.
However, the person honored will not personally take note of these messages in the foreseeable future. He travels from Melbourne via Dubai to his adopted home of Marbella/Spain. He is expected in Belgrade in ten days at the earliest.
