The former world-class player and former men’s tennis boss Boris Becker has indicated that he will again take on a function in the DTB comeback: "Door is not closed"”>German Tennis Association in the future.
“The door is not closed, I will have a political role in the future,” said the three-time Wimbledon winner in an interview with the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung”. The 54-year-old said he was “still very connected” to the DTB and especially sports director Klaus Eberhard. Becker did not give any further details.

At the end of November 2020 he resigned after three and a half years as Head of Men’s Tennis in the DTB. Eberhard will give up his position in the middle of this year. (dpa/lp)
