Four Roses had made the trip for the first tournament of 2022 which took place in Saint Nolff. This Saturday in Simple Hpmme series 4 Aymeric GUILLOU bowed in the final against a bad player from Nantes Nolann BORJON-PIRON. In Men’s Doubles series 4 the duo Aymeric GUILLOU / Vincent GANIVET was eliminated in the quarter-finals against the pair of St Nolff Titouan BOUCHE / Florian GUEHO (16/21; 21/23).
Hope might come from the Double Dame D series 3 with Agathe and Amandine BURGAUD (daughter and mother) associated for the first time in a tournament… It was shaking in their first match of the day, where they narrowly won ( 21/19; 10/21; 21/14). Something to shake them up as soon as they enter the tournament. The second pool match passed easily leaving a little respite before the rest of the tournament. For the last pool match, once again the two Quimpétoises had to fight. They snatched victory after an hour of play (21/12; 20/22; 21/18). The semi-final was almost a formality for the two roses. In the final against the pair Tifenn BERTIN / Manon LEGROS (former N2) from Fougères, they were suffocated and could not put their game down. They lost 11/21; 7/21. Overall they are having a very good tournament for a first. “We had a lot of fun playing together”. Isn’t that the main thing?
