GenPI.co – After Shin Tae Yong managed to drive the Indonesian national team crazy, Malaysia reportedly started doing reckless things.
The reckless thing in question is that for the first time, the Malaysian Football Federation (FAM) is rumored to be trying their luck with a South Korean coach.
The Malaysian national team is known to have been abandoned by coach Tan Cheng Hoe after failing miserably in the 2020 AFF Cup.

At the biggest football event in Southeast Asia, the Malaysian national team was only able to finish in third place in the final standings of Group B, behind Indonesia and Vietnam and failed to advance to the semifinals.
As a result, currently the Malaysian national team does not have a replacement coach.

For this crucial position, FAM is reportedly trying to follow in the footsteps of the Indonesian and Vietnamese national teams, namely looking for a coach from South Korea.
Launching from Astro Arena, there are three names of South Korean coach candidates who are reportedly being targeted by FAM, namely Kim Pan Gon, Park Jin Seop, and Kim Hak Bum.

Of the four coaches, Kim Hak Bum’s name immediately became the spotlight because he was known as the teacher of the Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae Yong.
