The ‘Festes de Sant Antoni’ Judo Trophy commemorated its coming of age this Saturday with the celebration of its eighteenth edition, with a day of competition in Can Coix that also coincided with the fourth qualifying school control for the final phase of the Judo Championship. The appointment in Sant Antoni was marked by many absences due to the health situation, although, in the end, around 30 judokas participated in this championship.
In the afternoon, also at the Can Coix sports center, the celebration of the New Year’s festival was held with the youngest athletes from the island’s judo family, between 4 and 7 years of age.
The meeting, in which 40 young judokas from the Samyd and Dojo Ibiza clubs took part, allowed the children of both clubs to have a great time in a playful and festive event, in which they could practice judo and enjoy many games.
