The FFT, an approved sports federation, in accordance with the legislation in force and its statutes, organizes and manages the activities of French professional tennis. It is charged by ministerial delegation with promoting, organizing and developing tennis in France, bringing together and supporting the affiliated clubs, and coordinating their activities. It also ensures the representation of France by the commitment of the French teams in international events such as the Davis Cup, the Fed Cup or the Olympic Games as well as by the organization of major tournaments.

In this regard, the FFT is the official organizer of the French International Tennis Championships at Roland-Garros and the Rolex Paris Masters and as such holds all the related operating rights.

Temporary position to be filled for the tournament from 12/13 May to 5 June maximum 2022

As part of the France 2022 internationals, the Works & Safety Logistics Department is looking for a maintenance employee for the Roland-Garros courts, who will be responsible for taking care of all maintenance-related operations. clay courts. In this capacity, he/she will carry out the following tasks:

Bringing the courts into play to make them usable (installation and cleaning of court furniture) during the Roland-Garros tournament.
– Maintain the grounds daily (sweeping, watering, tarping)
– Participate in the maintenance of the tennis courts during matches

Profile

Skills required :

– Good physical condition
– Sense of teamwork

Required qualities :

– Knowledge and respect of safety instructions
– Knowledge of tennis

Training and experience:

– Experience in the maintenance of clay tennis courts (in a club or on a course) would be a plus
