The Bhayangkara FC vs Persebaya Surabaya duel heats up the 20th week of the BRI Liga 1 2021, Tuesday (18/1/2022) night WIB. This duel is full of prestige between two top teams. The top of the standings is also at stake.
Currently Bhayangkara occupies the second position of the League 1 standings with a score of 40 points. While Persebaya is just below it in third position with 39 points.
The duel, which will be held at the Ngurah Rai Stadium, Denpasar, Bali, at 20.45 WIB, can determine who will evicte or be evicted. It is not impossible that the winner will rise to the top of shifting Arema FC.

“Our mission is revenge because in the first round match we lost 0-1 through a free kick goal,” said Persebaya coach Aji Santoso when giving a press statement, Monday (17/1).
“I saw the Bhayangkara match against Madura. We know that Bhayangkara is inhabited by good and experienced players. I think the match will be interesting,” he said.
Persebaya is currently listed as the most productive team by scoring 37 goals. His opponent, Bhayangkara, conceded the least number of goals because they only conceded 13 times.
Meanwhile, Bhayangkara is aware that this duel has great meaning for both teams. Whoever slips, then in the standings will be parked.
Bhayangkara TM Ichsan is determined to show Bhayangkara’s capacity as a strong team. Although he is aware that his team’s struggle against Persebaya will not be easy.
“Obviously there is no burden, we are football players and focus on preparing this team and we believe we can get positive results in the match later,” said Ichsan.
“That’s what we want. If you say Persebaya is the best team in attack, Bhayangkara is one of the best teams in terms of defense,” he said.
