Indiana center Myles Turner, one of the most coveted players on the NBA trade market, will be out for at least two weeks with a left foot injury, the Pacers announced Tuesday.
Package for Monday’s game lost by his team at the Clippers, Turner suffers from a bone contusion of the left foot and will be reassessed in two weeks, the organization said in a press release.
According to ESPN, citing sources at the club, the 25-year-old inside will not return to the pitch until the February 10 deal deadline.
A transfer window which could concern Turner, several teams seeming interested in his profile as a defender, a counter specialist (2.8 per game this season) and which averages 12.9 points and 7.1 rebounds.
Indiana, which ranks 13th in the Eastern Conference (15 wins, 29 losses), is mid-regular season still far from aiming for the playoffs.
