Chelsea increasingly lags behind Manchester City in the Premier League standings. The Blues are also threatened in the top four positions.

With the addition of this one point, Chelsea collected 44 points from 23 games played, in the third position of the Premier League standings. Thomas Tuchel’s team is 12 points behind The Citizens, who have played one game less.
Chelsea’s points can also be pursued by Arsenal. Currently, the Gunners are in fifth position with a collection of 35 points. Mikel Arteta’s team has only played 20 times.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are still in second place in the Premier League standings. Collecting 45 points, the Reds have played 22 times, aka once fewer than Chelsea.
In sixth position, Tottenham Hotspur earned 33 points. Antonio Conte’s team has only played 18 times. So, mathematically they can still overtake Chelsea’s points in the Premier League standings.
Meanwhile for Brighton, with the addition of one point this time, they have recorded 29 points. The Seaguls sit in ninth position in the Premier League standings, only 3 points from Manchester United who are in seventh position.
