Five new black belts in the ranks of Carcassonne Olympique Judo

This is a good first assessment for the Carcassonne Olympique judo club, with the obtaining of the coveted rank of judokas-in-the-spotlight/” title=”Graduated judokas in the spotlight”>black belt that five young judokas have just won.

For Thomas Labiste and Robin Escamez, it was during the grade transition at the end of December that they were able to savor their new grade, by going to Toulouse to pick up the points they were missing.

For Alan Gaspard, Lucas Doumeix and Thomas Plisson-Trehet, they were traveling for the regional grand prix of Lavelanet in Ariège, on January 8th. The first two won very well, Thomas finished at the foot of the podium, but all three completed the points for their first dan. A great consecration for these young judokas who are rewarded for their efforts in these very complicated times.

It is also necessary to underline the beautiful victory of Faissal Etouisni in the senior juniors, who for his part finishes his points for his 2nd dan, and will present his katas at the next grade passage to validate his grade. Also note the 2nd place of Myriam Jyed and the 5th place of Turan Ege, who are getting closer over the competitions to the black belt.

If this rank is a first objective in the life of a judoka, it is in no way an end, but on the contrary the beginning of a great adventure and the reward for a well-deserved work.

The leaders and teachers of Carcassonne Olympique Judo are once again delighted to see these athletes grow, to see them go through the stages, and in turn to transmit these beautiful values of respect and work to the youngest.
