Salak’s end in Sparta?

Karlovy Vary was to expect an extra-league match today after a long eleven days. He is undoubtedly the biggest loser of recent days. Although the coronavirus is still avoiding them through the arc, they had to postpone three matches due to opponents who were unlucky.
„Unfortunately, the situation is as it is. We prepared for all three previous matches by default and then unfortunately there was no play. Maybe it will finally work out on Tuesday. At Sparta, I believe we are very well prepared,“Said one of Energie’s coaches Tomáš Mariška for the club website.
Unfortunately, it will not work. Sparta has been quarantined after several positive PCR tests, so it must postpone today’s duel with Energie and Friday’s match with Zlín. “We are in permanent contact with the Hygiene Station of the Capital City of Prague, with which we are solving the next step. With Karlovy Vary and Zlín, we will be looking for alternative dates for matches, “Said sports director Petr Ton.

Experienced striker of HC Kometa Brno Martin Zaťovič scored the 400th extra-league point in his career in Sunday’s match on the ice of Hradec. He needed 710 matches for that, which he divided between only two clubs.
The first seasons he was still at Energie Karlovy Vary, where he scored a total of 168 starts. After two more seasons spent in the KHL, however, it belongs exclusively to Kometa. He has already recorded 542 starts in the second largest city in the country.
But he will have to wait for the next comma in the column of played matches. The disciplinary commission set a stop for two matches for a foul in Sunday’s duel in Hradec Králové against Radim Šalda.
Time change
Mountfield HK fans won’t have to hurry to hockey on Sunday, January 20th. The reason is that the match with the Pilsen-based Škoda was included in the ČT Sport television program. Instead of 16:00, the initial throw-in was postponed to 17:20.
Program of the 45th round of the extra league
Mainly due to infection problems, today’s program has shrunk from seven to just three games. The three matches will have to take place on different dates, the duel between Litvínov and Hradec is on the agenda a day later.
Unfortunately, television did not choose a single match today, so fans of today’s six teams have to thank only the internet stream on Hokejka TV. Only a limited number of spectators can still go to the stadiums.
