For title candidate Golden State Warriors, the season in the professional basketball league NBA remains a constant up and down.
The team around superstar Stephen Curry got back on the road to success on Tuesday in their own hall, the Warriors won 102:86 against the Detroit Pistons. On their away trip they had lost three out of four games in the previous days.
Thompson and Curry convince
Against Detroit, currently the second weakest team in the NBA, Klay Thompson (21 points) and Curry (18 points, 8 assists) were convincing. For Thompson it was the strongest performance of the season, the shooting guard had recently made his comeback after a long injury break.
Golden State secured second place in the Western Conference behind the Phoenix Suns, who have two more wins under their belt. The Warriors now have six more home games in a row.
