The 2009 French champion with Bordeaux, Yoann Gourcuff, has not stepped on the lawns of a professional football pitch since October 2018 and his last match with Dijon. Since then, the one who was announced as the future Zidane has returned to live in his native Brittany, without putting sport aside.
Indeed, according to The Telegram, he would have converted to tennis and would be undefeated this season in Regional 1 with his Larmor-Plage club, ten minutes from where he grew up. It is no coincidence that he performs in tennis because when he was younger he hesitated between a career as a footballer and one as a tennis player, before choosing the round ball.
Former international Yoann Gourcuff (35) has not played football since 2019. However, he plays tennis matches with the Larmor-Plage club in the Men’s Regional. https://t.co/ggtInL9x5C
